OUR BOOKING PROCESS

At Rewind The Day, we’re proud to offer a simple booking process and a flexible payment plan. Secure your special day with a £400 deposit, and pay the remaining balance up to 14 days before the BIG DAY!

  1. ENQUIRE VIA OUR CONTACT US PAGE - If you're captivated by our wedding films and interested in working with us, just fill out our contact form. We will respond promptly with a link to book in a call with us.

  2. DEPOSIT AND CONTRACT - You’ve explored our options and chosen the videography package you'd like to book.

    Ready to proceed? We will send over a contract for you to review and approve, along with an invoice for your selected package with any add ons desired.

    We take great pride at Rewind The Day in our straightforward booking process and flexible payment plan. A deposit of £400 guarantees our services for your special day, with the remaining balance due 14 days before the BIG DAY!

  3. BOOKED IN - Once you've completed the steps above, you can check finding your dream videographer off your wedding list – YOU'RE BOOKED! Now, focus on planning your wedding, as there's nothing else required from you at this stage.

  4. PRE WEDDING CALL - Approximately six weeks before the big day, we will reach out to schedule a pre-wedding discussion. We typically conduct these meetings via Zoom, phone call, or in person – the choice is yours. During this conversation, we will collect important details regarding the timings and plans for the day.

  5. THE BIG DAY - We typically arrive at the venue much earlier than you might expect. This gives us the opportunity to unload our equipment, capture some establishing shots of the venue, and connect with the venue staff. When we're ready to start filming, we'll come and find you for preparation. We will be dedicated to you throughout the entire day, although our goal is to blend into the background and remain unobtrusive.

  6. DELIVERY DAY aka MOVIE NIGHT - We strive to deliver your complete wedding film collection within 12 to 15 weeks following the event (sometimes increased during busy periods). A branded RTD popcorn machine is delivered to your doorstep! Gather your family and prepare for a cozy movie night! You'll receive trailers within a few weeks, and social media reels may be available the very next day, if applicable.

IN MORE DETAIL

  • Filming typically begins 2-3 hours prior to the ceremony. We wrap things up shortly after the first dance ensuring we have captured plenty of evening dancing.

  • We shoot every wedding with two videographers at no extra cost. Mostly us both, occasionally backed up by a member of the RTD team, but always one of us present (Tony or Lauren)

  • Get the popcorn out! This is the big one. Gather the family and rewind your special day. Audio from the ceremony and speeches edited into the feature film. Duration varies depending on chosen package.

  • These pack-a-punch and build up that excitement to leave you wanting more. Perfect for sharing across social media with family and friends. Audio from the ceremony and speeches edited into the trailer. 

    You'll see our Instagram is packed full of them! Delivered 2-3 weeks after your big day.

  • Want that instant feel good content? We will produce a social media reel and deliver it the next day. Perfect to reveal following an unplugged wedding maybe…

  • Whether it be a religious church ceremony, a registrar or celebrant led ceremony, we capture this in FULL with multiple camera angles. This is delivered as a separate film within your full film collection.

  • Those emotional father of the bride speeches, a nervous groom or a best man that loves the limelight, we capture all of the speeches in FULL from multiple angles. This is delivered as a separate film within your full film collection.

  • Choreographed a BIG one? or reliving the year 6 disco with your first dance moves; we capture it in FULL from multiple camera angles. We will also capture any other special dances planned. This is delivered as a separate film within your full film collection.

  • All video messages left in the Video Pod will be edited together to produce its own film title. Hear those heartfelt messages, or damn right hilarious ones.

  • Bringing that WOW factor to your films!

    We have the capability to capture aerial footage of your venue and elements of your day. This is weather and venue permitting. The drone can cope in most weather conditions apart from rain and strong wind.

    If the venue is in close proximity to airports / flight paths or restricted areas we will obtain the required permission to fly in accordance with the law.

  • We shoot and deliver in 4k at no extra cost! - none of that HD 1080p stuff round here.

    We deliver via VidFlow, a super cool personalised and password protected online client experience where you can enjoy your films across all devices (phones / tablets / smart tv’s and laptops), and share instantly with anyone in the world. Those long lost family members abroad wont be left out!

  • Around 6 weeks prior to the big day, we will arrange an in-depth pre wedding consultation. We will discuss plans and timings during this meeting which can be held via video call or in person.

  • Additional fees may apply for weddings outside a two-hour drive from our base in Thurrock, Essex. We will discuss and clarify this before you confirm your booking if applicable.
