Hannah & Naomi’s Sun-Soaked, Joy-Filled Countryside Wedding

There are weddings that feel like something out of a dream, and then there’s Hannah and Naomi’s. Set in the rolling Cambridge countryside, in the gardens of Hannah’s stunning childhood home, this wedding was the perfect blend of personal touches, DIY charm, and heartfelt celebration. From start to finish, it was a day brimming with love, laughter, sunshine and just the right amount of chaos (thanks, Marley 🐾).

Hannah and Naomi took the “plan it yourself” wedding to the next level, and they nailed it. From the beautifully decorated marquee to the bespoke bar handcrafted by Naomi’s dad, every detail had their personal stamp on it. They’d thought of everything: posh loos, a fantastic catering team serving up mouthwatering food, thoughtful décor, and even Polaroid place cards for each guest. It was rustic chic perfection with a big dash of personality.

The day began with both brides getting ready separately; Hannah in her childhood bedroom at the family home, and Naomi in the bridal suite of the lovely venue next door. Hannah and her girls vibed to a wedding morning playlist specially curated by Naomi (yes, it was as good as you imagine), while Naomi’s suite was full of laughter, nerves, and joyful anticipation. The excitement on both sides was palpable.

When it came time for the ceremony, emotions were high-but so was the energy! One by one, bridesmaids, dads, and even the family dogs made their entrance. Hannah’s beloved family pups and the couples German Shepherd, Marley, strutted (and occasionally bolted) down the aisle, nearly stealing the whole show. It was chaotic, adorable, and so very THEM.

The ceremony, conducted by a close friend and family member, was personal and moving. She captured the heart of Hannah and Naomi’s journey with stories that had the guests laughing through their tears. The vows the brides exchanged were raw, real, and deeply touching. We weren’t the only ones reaching for the tissues. Exiting through a sea of confetti, the excitement of the day had only just begun!

Blessed with sunshine all day long, the couple’s portrait session was filled with golden light, natural giggles, and sweet, unposed moments. Their love was effortless to capture; playful, tender, and radiating joy. As a couple they were so fun to be around and the addition of their mischievous doggo just added to the laughter.

After two beautiful speeches from both of their dads, guests were welcomed into the marquee. It was a dream: rustic tables, wildflowers, fairy lights, and those amazing Polaroid placeholders that added such a fun, personal touch. But the real surprise came just after everyone found their seats. With no warning, the brides burst in to S Club 7’s “Ain’t No Party”- and invited everyone to the dance floor. A pre-dinner boogie? Absolutely genius! It set the tone for the rest of the night: spontaneous, joy-filled, and unapologetically fun.

The speeches that followed were just as heartfelt as they were hilarious, with Naomi’s brother and Hannah’s best friend bringing the room to laughter and tears in equal measure. Then it was time for the brides to speak. Their dual speech was full of warmth, gratitude, and belly laugh moments. We truly couldn’t stop smiling.

A perfectly intimate first dance, a slice of their favourite cake from a beloved local bakery, and then it was back to the party. With a live ’80s band and a killer DJ in between sets, the dancefloor never emptied. Naomi even debuted her signature kick-dance move that we’d been hearing whispers about all day; and it absolutely delivered!

Add in some shot-filled water pistols and a rustic pizza truck serving up late night snacks, and you’ve got a recipe for one epic party. Everyone danced, laughed, and celebrated well into the night. It was a wedding that didn’t just celebrate love-it radiated it.

Hannah and Naomi, your wedding was a masterclass in how to do it your way, and we loved every second of capturing it. Thank you for letting us be a part of your wildly beautiful, utterly YOU celebration.
